A smokin’ hot design project from MindFire Communications is heating up the pages of the Lovely Package design blog.
The blog posted an article about the bottle labels that MindFire designed for Mississippi River Distilling Company, a brand new micro-distillery in Le Claire, Iowa. The designs were for the distillery’s River Baron vodka and River Rose gin.
"The success of these bottle labels is a result of taking our time to really flesh out the brand before starting the creative process,” said Erik Meade, director of client services for MindFire Communications. "We spent a great deal of time learning about the distilling process, the local ingredients and discovering what the heart and soul of the products would be about. We then captured that heart and soul in a powerful and unique brand that drew on the region’s history and local flair. We’re thrilled that we were able to share the designs with the readers of the Lovely Package blog.”
Lovely Package isn’t the only one who has recognized the designs. The bottle labels won a Gold ADDY award at the Quad City Advertising Federation Addy Award ceremony, received a Flexographic award and will be included in an upcoming issue of Package magazine.
